Mrs. Grace Magunga was appointed as the Company Secretary on 22nd February 2008. She is currently the Secretary to the Board as well as the various standing Board Committees; Board Finance and Investments Committee (BFIC), Board Audit and Risk Committee (BARC) and the Board Nominations and Governance Committee (BNGC). Grace is the Corporation Secretary of the ICDC since 2006. She has wide experience spanning over 20 years in Legal Matters and Corporate Secretarial Services, gained at ICDC. She is also the Company Secretary of among others, Almasi Beverages Ltd, Mount Kenya Bottles Ltd, Rift Valley Bottlers Ltd, Kisii Bottlers Ltd, Kenya National Trading Corporation Ltd, Funguo Registrars Ltd, Organic Growers and Packers (EPZ) Limited and Focus Container Freight Station Ltd. Grace holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Kenya School for Law. She is also a holder of a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. She is a Certified Public Secretary of Kenya (CPS) (K).
