Mary is the Chairperson of the Board Nominations and Governance Committee and is a member of the Board Audit and Risk Committee. Mary served in the Public Service for 34 years rising through the ranks to Permanent Secretary / Chief Accounting Officer for the Min. of State for the Development of Northern Kenya and other Arid Lands and also the Permanent Secretary/ Chief Accounting Officer for the Ministry of Medical Services. She has previously worked at the East African Portland Cement Company as Acting M.D. Mary retired in 2013 and is currently pursuing private interests.

Mary holds a BA Degree (Hons) in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Nairobi and a Master`s Degree in Psychotherapy and Counseling from Daystar University.
